Frankenstein - How To Make A Monster
2008 - Present
As a working-class kid who'd had one too many close calls with social services, Aminita was always looking for after school activities to keep her out of trouble. With Battersea Arts Centre just a stone's throw from her Dad's house she discovered the Young Peoples Theatre programe and the 'Beatbox Academy' shortly after. It was here that Aminita would take ownership of a singing voice and rapping style she had hidden for so long.
